Lil Nas X could be facing a lawsuit over his promo idea for "Montero". The Grammy winner and his management reportedly received a cease and desist letter from a metal-rap artist, Dana Dentata for using pregnancy photoshoot and his "Giving Birth" video to promote his latest album, which arrived in September 2021.
In documents obtained by The Blast, Dana accused the emcee of using "copyrighted material" which is "essentially identical to the 'Pantychrist' music video and clearly used the work as its basis." Read The Story
