Authorities investigate shocking manifesto linking shooter to extremist figures

NASHVILLE, TN – A chilling new revelation has emerged in the aftermath of a deadly school shooting at Antioch High School in Nashville, where 17-year-old Solomon Henderson reportedly cited far-right figures, including Adolf Hitler and conservative commentator Candace Owens, as sources of inspiration for his violent rampage.

Henderson, who tragically shot and killed a 16-year-old student and wounded two others, is now under scrutiny not only for his actions but for the disturbing ideological motivations believed to have fueled them. In a photo that has since surfaced, the teenager is seen mimicking the infamous Nazi salute, a gesture which has heightened concerns over his apparent admiration for Adolf Hitler.

The shooting left the school community in shock. Authorities have since revealed they are investigating a massive online manifesto that was reportedly authored by Henderson. The document reportedly includes disturbing references to Hitler, as well as calls for "revenge" and the eradication of “race mixing.” It also contains mentions of past school shootings, indicating the shooter may have been influenced by prior acts of violence.

While the manifesto remains under investigation, some details have already emerged. Henderson’s admiration for Hitler appears to be deeply ingrained, with the teenager allegedly praising the Nazi dictator for his role in the genocide of six million Jews during the Holocaust. More troubling still, Henderson apparently idolized far-right figures such as Candace Owens and Nick Fuentes, both of whom have been controversial figures in American politics.

In a portion of the manifesto attributed to Henderson, the shooter confesses that his radicalization was significantly shaped by Owens' rhetoric, writing: "Candace Owens has influenced me above all each time she spoke. I was stunned by her insights, and her views pushed me further and further into the belief of violence over the Jewish question."

Owens, known for her provocative and often polarizing statements, responded publicly to the accusations. In a statement posted to X (formerly Twitter), Owens denounced any connection to Henderson's actions, calling it "truly sickening" that people would attempt to use the tragic loss of life to score "political points." She further asserted that anyone spreading such claims should be more responsible with the information they share.

“This is a tragic event, and it’s sickening that people would use the death of a young 16-year-old girl to try to quickly score political points, rather than to responsibly make sure that what they are sharing is accurate,” Owens wrote.

The investigation is ongoing, with police focusing on the extent of Henderson's online activity and the individuals who may have contributed to his radicalization. Experts are warning that the shooter’s manifesto highlights a disturbing trend in the growing influence of far-right extremism, particularly among younger individuals who are exposed to violent and conspiratorial rhetoric online.

As the community of Antioch High School grapples with the aftermath of this tragedy, many are questioning how such radicalization can be prevented, and whether individuals like Owens and Fuentes have an unwitting role in encouraging the kinds of extremist ideologies that led to this act of violence.

The shooting at Antioch High is yet another in a series of violent incidents at U.S. schools, underscoring the urgent need for a broader conversation about online extremism, gun control, and the role of influential figures in shaping young minds. As authorities continue their investigation, they are urging the public to refrain from making premature conclusions, but the impact of Henderson’s manifesto and his links to far-right figures cannot be ignored.

This is a developing story. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
